By raging against families they may well have gone too far. Although the statistics show dysfunctional families, modern black America may still have fond memories of when things were better. They are not quite ready to go full tribal and this could backfire. With Donald Trump asking them “what would you have to lose with my ideas?” now this may actually ring true. It’s like the Lord is letting the follies teach their own lessons (which is a common biblical theme).
