If CNN is admitting that, it’s at a minimum 60%/40% in favor of Trump.
Thanks for posting the 2012 voter breakdown. 6% more women jumped out at me. We need to close that gap. Get men to use early voting and absentee ballots.
The 8-pt lead they cited for Hillary was with **Registered** voters. The new poll with Trump leading is **Likely** voters *and* includes the two other party candidates (Johnson and Steyn).
In other words, this is the fair poll. Likely voters is more likely to mirror who will actually come to the polls and is considered more accurate than Registered voters.
I suspect CNN released this not just to play up the horse race but also to be able to say later on “we had Trump predicted too before they go back to skewing everything for Hillary.
Well, after seeing Hillary cough her head off on stage in Cleveland and on her second-hand plane yesterday during her phony “press conference,” it would be surprising if she can make it through the debates. Perhaps Trump should learn how to do CPR, just in case.
I expect to see some of these episodes show up in a campaign video soon questioning her health.

Their assessment that Hildabeast is leading in virtually every state, even Texas, is TOTALLY BANANAS!!!

I’d bet that she is actually behind in virtually every state!!!
She never had an 8 point lead. Hillary has a max support on her best day of the low 40s (42-43%). That’s it. That’s her best case scenario ceiling.
Only way she will get over that number is if somehow Trump would somehow implode and his massively motivated and enthusiastic base of support suddenly collapsed and large numbers just decided to suddenly stay home. Only then could Hillary get over low 40s not because her support grew but because total turnout would shrink massively.
This of course is highly unlikely to happen. As long as Trump comes out of the debates looking reasonable, which as much as the press likes to play he’s a loose cannon and dangerous Trump has always come across as reasonable to most people when they see him unfiltered and live. Then you will see the current trending turn into a tidal wave.
General trending is putting to bed the notion Trump is the on with the Ceiling... Hillary is and always has been the one with the fundamental problems.
In the margin she can still cheat.
It would be a hoot if Trump stood at the next debate with a bottle of Trump Water to offer Hillary when the coughing spasm starts.
The low-information crowd is going to clearly contrast weak, hacking, low-energy Hillary against energetic and everpresent Trump and that will change perceptions in the minds of some voters.

Let’s not forget Clinton history. The narrative for Billy Bob was always “the comeback kid”. They’ll announce a Trump lead in September and then report Clinton catching up and surpassing Trump in late October, with the final polls showing a Clinton landslide. They won’t care about the actual numbers, this is all part of a carefully scripted drama.
Awesome. Even one of the mainstream press’s most prominent telephone polls shows him in the lead! I love it.
For the first time in a month, I decided to watch a bit of Morning Joe in order to enjoy a little schadenfreude. I was not disappointed. Mika crinkled her eyebrows and said, “I’m worried,” as the others tried to explain why national polls don’t really matter compared to state polls. Then Joe brought up the point that Trump hasn’t even really started his ad blitz yet. And they all looked a little frightened. I loved it.
