Two snipers practically shut down DC. What could 10,000 do?
They won’t confiscate them. It’s not about that. If it was they would prosecute criminals caught with guns as a federal felony. It’s about criminalizing gun owners. Then they can selectively prosecute any gun owners at will.
Where was this all-knowing NSA when Russia informed our government that they may want to keep an eye on the Boston Bombers?
Oh boy.
Look, it is probably wise to assume the NSA knows about MOST guns being sold or traded and yes, I can see them freezing assets like tax returns and what not.
But going after kids? Who in hades would go along with that? LE? Forget about, that’s not a hill worth dying on and besides most cops got kids and guns of their own and wouldn’t go along with any of this.
There would be more revolutionary patriots that JBTs so its not an issue.
Besides, if you haven’t got your gun(s) by now, WTF were you waiting on?
Now eliminating ammunition and spare parts, that it very problematic.
Russians became afraid of leaving their camps except in large numbers in Afghanistan. That is the kind of fear that the American Patriot will have to instill in the oppressors...

@JimRed - One of the grimmest discussions about a possible Civil War 2 involved an older fellow telling me that if the liberals really got programs for kids to spy/snitch for them in ernest, I might have to make peace with God about shooting a child because if they tattled on me or my fellow rebels we were just as screwed as if a CIA spy had seen us. Utterly spine-chilling to think about lining up a 12 year old in my sights or walking by them on the playground with a K-BAR in hand. But that already happened in Germany to a massive degree and the Communist nations to varying lesser degrees so it’s not an unthinkable scenario by any means.
@Aut Pax Aut Bellum - It doesn’t necessarily have to be the soldiers either. If every liberal-thinking politician and judge was afraid to set foot out of a bunker if they voted the wrong way, the battle would be half over right there.

This will not be a civil war so much as a revolution of restoration, to restore constitutional behavior to government. While your liberal neighbor might rat you out to the regime, he is not likely to take up arms and seek you out. Unless, that is, you attack his loved ones.
In German people who turned in others were fair game for retribution by the remaining citizens. Should liberals start turning in patriots and the time for armed conflict has come, not a single member of that household would be left alive as an example to the rest this is what happens when you side with the regime. This is common in all wars of a civil nature. regardless of if it is revolutionary or restoration of a sitting gov’t, by definition wars between former citizens or country men are civil wars. civil wars devolve rapidly to total warfare and genocide that is the nature of civil war. Sherman practiced total war in our last domestic conflict burning, pillaging and killing indiscriminately it has happened here and will happen again if the liberals push for civil conflict. Once we have one side using the force govt to put the other on deadly ground, those who use those methods will be sought out and eliminated down to the last person no quarter will be given as men who have lost everything have no morals or compunction left about what must be done to eliminate the enemy who’s caused them to be in a no win situation. make no mistake if the govt and liberals move on assets, children and livelihoods those affected people will have no problem genociding those who have caused that situation I have seen it first hand in the Balkans in the 1990s normal men not hardened soldiers pushing children of there enemies into mass graves once the thin mask of civility comes off humans are murderous killing machines.
