If the offense someone feels over something I've said or done is reasonable and legitimate I'll surely apologize.But,sweetie,something tells me that we define "reasonable and legitimate" *very* differently.
I think we can fairly identify when someone has taken offense for no good reason.
I have, in a waggish way, suggested that everyone should be a redneck, no matter what color he or she is.
Rednecks are humble.
Rednecks work hard.
Rednecks are always ready.
Rednecks are brave.
Rednecks care about other people.
It’s working hard, in fact, that gets them the red neck.
We should not be shy to use occasions like this to talk back. Speak truth to (illegitimate, lying) power, as it were.
