Obama is knowingly and deliberately funding terrorism.
That cash - untraceable and easily transported - is going to kill a lot of innocent people. It's expected that Iran will spread that cash among its surrogates like the Houthi rebels in Yemen and Hezb'allah - the Lebanese terrorist group fighting with Russia in Syria to bolster the Assad regime.
Iran, already the world's #1 supporter of terrorism, just got a financial shot in the arm that will truly make them the bankers of choice for terrorists.

Wait a minute. If I want to take $10000 of my own money out of the country, I have to fill out forms and notify the government. If I don’t, I’m committing a crime. Surely the government has to follow the same rules as its citizens, doesn’t it? (Is the sarcasm tag really necessary?)

At 3%, that VISA fee could add up, plus the exchange rate, etc.
In cash? Of course, how else can otraitor make sure that a future administration has no leverage over iranian behavior.
This just begs all kinds of questions. Most of the questions I’ve seen however are not the ones I’d ask. The real questions should concentrate on the logistics of how this type cash transfer even happens. Where EXACTLY did the money come from? Are there huge piles of unaccounted for, extra, cash sitting on pallets in warehouses somewhere? Who exactly does the President call to “requisition” a giant pile of cash? Is it simply printed as needed? You’d think it must be a debit from some source, is that source the U.S. Treasury and EXACTLY who has the power to make such a withdrawal? Does someone just show up with a truck and a requisition form to take delivery of said cash? “Barry sent me. Can you load the truck while I have a cup of coffee?” Who writes the check? Who cashes the check? Questions, questions, so many questions.
Imagine if President Bush had made this cash payment to Iran. He would have been impeached and removed from office if not tried for treason. Obama commits this crime and nothing but crickets. Sad but in the very near future we may learn that this money was used to fund an attack on the US that kills thousands. Kind of like FDR giving money to the Japanese who used it to build the aircraft carriers that attacked Pearl Harbor.
