Hillary Clinton's 'mysterious handler' who pops up from time to time on the campaign trail is a Secret Service agent, her campaign says, and rumors that suggest otherwise are 'despicable.' A right-wing website on Tuesday speculated that while the African-American man dressed like he was part of Clinton's government-provided security detail he may not be because 'his actions prove otherwise.' The Drudge Report picked up the story that same day. It posted a picture of Clinton and the man at a Las Vegas rally and asked 'Who is he?'

What’s funny is one of Clinton’s hacks says the object in his hand that had everybody talking is a regular pen and another says its a flashlight. Personally, if you watch the video where the still is pulled from I think its pretty obvious that you can see a cord indicating thats it a lapel mic. In any case, I’d be interested to know his name and background because I’m guessing he’s not a run of the mill agent.

He’s not Secret Service: He is not dressed like them; he wears colored shirts and grey suits. SS wear black suits and white shirts. He touches Hillary; SS are NOT supposed to touch the person they are protecting. He gives instructions to Hillary that are unrelated to security concerns; he told her to keep talking and that everything would be alright when she froze due to protesters.

I’m just waiting for this guy to be caught off guard, off the record saying something. It’s all very curious. Maybe a reporter should ask her husband or daughter. Ask them separately about it, compare the carefully woven tales later.
