You seem to think that every single NFL player does and thinks the same thing, which is a very silly belief.

How can they fine for this and later promote the “pink” shoes for Breast Cancer?

Not everyone. But this started with one guy, a second rate employee when it came to talent. I don’t have to think it is everyone while it is growing so rapidly to include entire teams “standing arm in arm” Seattle.

On opening day, Kansas City cornerback Marcus Peters raise a black-gloved fist during the national anthem, a protest amplified later Sunday when four Miami Dolphins kneeled on the sideline with hands on their hearts as “The Star Spangled Banner” played in Seattle. Sorry, the picture with the article indicated only two had their hands over their hearts.Broncos linebacker Brandon Marshall , a teammate of Kaepernick’s in college at Nevada, took a knee during the anthem on Thursday night. And in the night game, New England’s Martellus Bennett and Devin McCourty both held up their right arms. Several players for the Tennessee Titans also raised their fists during the anthem. At least two members of the New England Patriots held fists in the air after the National Anthem at their game against the Arizona Cardinals. On Thursday night’s game against the Chargers, 49ers team member Eric Reid took to a knee in protest during “The Star Spangled Banner.”

And here’s what happens: At Waggener High in Louisville, a player took a knee as his teammates stood alongside him. A number of players had taken a knee as the team line up but eventually rose as the music starting playing. Coach Jordan Johnson said the team will take steps before next week’s game to “to ensure our young men can make a stand for social injustice, while at the same time not showing, what is perceived as, disrespect.”

It doesn’t have to be everyone. With our media intervention, and the flip flop of the pro teams on leadership, what is being said and how, it gets out of hand and creates a real problem. The big thing about pro athletes, especially football, is they demand respect. They sure as hell don’t give it do they?

OK, rules are rules. The guys stood up for freedom and the NFL has to fine them or lose credibility. A dollar would be appropriate. Win-win.

How about the social injustice of the Democrat plantation?

We actually haven’t won our opening game since 2010.

I don't see them protesting fifty plus years of Democrat policies that have relegated so many minorities to a permanent underclass status. Can't let 'em off of that plantation!

And I was happy for Victor Cruz. 700 days since he last played.

And having to double up on Beckham and Cruz on many plays will get that new kid loose a lot, too!

You and I agree here. But the real problem is they aren’t chained to that plantation, they are underfed and treated like second class citizens, and yet they continue to ask for more from the people that put them and them kept there 300 years ago.

And when they do complain, they don’t use sources that will accomplish anything and disrespect everyone else around them so the everyone else won’t help them and the libs blame the problem on the everyone else. And they buy it.

My apologies, I meant a “standard Sunday” in NJ (and even that is just “puffing” - the Giants over the past few years only look good in comparison to the Jets).

The Jets have an excellent team, and they will make the playoffs!

I heard they won a Super Bowl a long time ago, but it was before I was born. I think it was around the Civil War...
