While the grand opening is scheduled for late October, today the luxury Trump International Hotel, Washington D.C. is scheduled to begin checking in its first guests as part of a low key 'soft' opening.

The hotel has a prestigious address on Pennsylvania Avenue, near the White House and the National Mall, and is built inside the Old Post Office building, which is on the National Register of Historic Places.

The building has undergone a $200 million overhaul and now boasts a 10,000 square-foot Spa by Ivanka Trump, a BLT Prime restaurant and 263 guestrooms and suites boasting 14 to 16 foot ceilings, "soaring windows, glittering crystal sconces" and six-foot tubs.

Ahead of schedule and under budget. That is the Trump way. Imagine what a president Trump can do for the country.

Notice that the grand opening celebrations are at the end of October. Wonder why!

Make a big deal of $500 a night, why don’t you? Except when the Obamas lodging runs in the thousands a night.

You don’t suppose they’re anticipating a sudden influx of tourists in a couple of months, do you?

Look at that basket of deplorables.

Why are they smiling? Don't they know they are unhappy, being deplorable and all.

It was completed one year ahead of time and under budget. $500 per night in a place like DC is not expensive.

Congrats to the Trump organization on taking an old, unused Post Office
and turning it into a beautiful hotel.

Ahead of schedule, under budget and to desired quality. These are concepts which are simply alien to career politicians and Washington Bureaucrats like Hellary.

My father was a businessman, not on the scale of Mr Trump i grant but successful in his own right. For my entire life he has wished nothing more than to have a true business man as President. Its the mindset change we need at the very top

Yes, so biased. They have to mention that in the title.

$500 a night is actually not that bad for a luxury hotel in one of the most expensive cities in the country.

Although I might be wrong. Because I don’t stay in them. LOL!

Is it my lieing eyes or is there a heaping helping of diversity in that picture?

No doubt the liberals will still call Trump racist.
