I paid $300 a night for the penthouse at the Gonzo Inn in Moab, UT in 2007.
Even worse, the KKK, NRA, Tea Party, and Trump Campaign are night riding in Chicago, made up in blackface, gunning down innocent black chilluns.
No, it is not a bad price. It will fluctuate once the place has been in operation over a year. In most large cities Sundays are the lowest rates for even the nicer hotels, but in DC, it tends to be Fridays - due to the business folks, politicians and their ilk, and lobbyists heading out of town at the end of the work week.
A place like this will always have a higher rate due to the luxury rating. I might try to save up for a few nights there :). Parking is at a premium also - adding between $35 and $60 per night (pre-taxes) IF you can even get a spot.
Go during low season, shop ahead up to two months or more to watch the rates, plan on weekend travel (if not a holiday or special local occasion)and consider the lower “pre-pay, non-refundable special offer nearly all properties have for shoulder and low seasons. I have stayed in some fantastic places using those tactics.
In fact I just returned from a trip where two of the places we stayed were super nice AND about 60% savings. While still not cheap - I felt pretty darned happy with what we had.
This was all part of the plan going back to 2012.
Looks like a lot of women, blacks, hispanics not objecting to being photographed with The Donald.
More like Foreign ambassador types on expense accounts.
Washington DC restaurant prices are like triple in most other cities.
Because he said Mexico is sending us criminals.
And the Inaugural Parade will go right in front of it.
This was all part of the plan going back to 2012.

If this is true, Trump is very ,very luck. He is always at the right place, in the right time, right circumstances.
$500/night is probably competitive for that area.
Website has standard rooms at $360/night, and these rooms are huge and well appointed.
Not bad for the location, a few blocks from the WH.
Oh, we’ve done that before in Washington and other cities.
That’s why he’s a billionaire.
