I drink approx. 1 1/2 quarts of iced water a day——and have been doing it for years.

At first they said she had overheated, then it was pneumonia, now they trot out dehydration. I can’t speak to the pneumonia, but the one time in my life I was dehydrated to the point of fainting, as Illary seemed to do, I sure wasn’t overheated; just the opposite. I couldn’t get warm enough. July in Texas and I had blankets piled on me as I lay on the couch drinking water and Gatorade, at the doctor’s direction. There was no hopping up and getting back to my activities within a couple of hours. It was a couple of days.

Has anyone mentioned diabetes and a sugar crash? Seen a ton of those up close, they can knock you down, and a spoonful of sugar/oj/honey/ etc.. brings you back in half hour or so.
i think I read coffee and tea can be dehydrating to the body so they kind of defeat the idea of hydration from their water content.
