Chaffetz subpoenas FBI for full Clinton email probe file

A powerful Republican lawmaker abruptly stopped a hearing Monday on Capitol Hill to serve a subpoena demanding the FBI’s full investigative file on the Hillary Clinton email probe to a top official, telling the man “you are hereby served.”

The dramatic moment came as House Oversight Committee Chairman Jason Chaffetz, R-Utah, expressed frustration that the FBI would not guarantee to provide the committee with the full, unedited, unredacted investigative summaries of the federal inquiry into Clinton’s homebrewed server and the Democratic presidential nominee’s potential mishandling of classified information.

Fox is covering this because it distracts from the BIG story about ILLary.

All the witnesses are taking more fifths than was taken during Ferguson riots.

As Trump has often said...all talk, no action.

Yes, but likely a ‘red-line’ as meaningful as Barack Hussein’s.

In Utah, where I live, Chaffetz is a highly admired member serving us in Washington D.C.

He is so much better than Mike Lee or Mia Love...hopefully Doug Owens will be knocking Mia Love OUT this election...I don't think there is any hope of Mike Lee being sent home :(

Borin Orrin Hatch says he will not run again, but who knows about him, he does what the Mormons want him to do...

Trump is 15 over Hillary in Utah as of today, and we all have been working very hard to get him there...and keeping him there and to give Utah to Trump/Pence!!!

GO.TRUMP/PENCE.GO!!! ALL THE WAY TO THE OVAL OFFICE!!!

The real question is, what will he do if they continue to refuse or deflect?

It was grand to see. I don’t know how I’m missing these hearings. There was also one last week on the money GIVEN to Iran but I learned about it after the fact. Going to have to pay better attention to what’s on the schedule, I guess.

“”But it seems that right after this(from what I read) the hearing was ended and moved to “secret””

Not unusual for some of the testimony to be given away from the public in these hearings. Several of the Benghazi hearings were handled that way. I prefer to see it all but that’s the way it goes.

Yes they need to enforce laws about subpoenas

Politicians, Gov officials/workers and all those protecting the sleazy Clintons need to stop being treated like protected classes

@DailyCaller They will stonewall until after the election.

Assange implies murdered DNC staffer was WikiLeaks' source

WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange implied in an interview that a murdered Democratic National Committee staffer was the source of a trove of damaging emails the rogue website posted just days before the party's convention.

Speaking to Dutch television program Nieuswsuur Tuesday after earlier announcing a $20,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of Seth Rich's killer, Assange said the July 10 murder of Rich in Northwest Washington was an example of the risk leakers undertake.

The corrupt ones in the FBI - those who think elites should be treated better than the common people - are NOT going to like this... not one bit...

Comey is a Clinton hack. I am so tired of hearing how above board and professional he is. He destroyed that reputation by not recommending prosecution of the Hag.

The FBI, just like the IRS, ATF, VA, DOJ is corrupt and rotten to the core and above board agents letting it go on are just as bad. Where were all the resignations and whistle blowers from these agencies when their leaders clearly had shown they had been compromised and were corrupt??? I have seen NONE.

I’d love to get excited about this, but I learned a long time ago congress is mostly about protecting themselves and their donors...

Getting the truth is far down the list..

It’s great theater, the show must go on...

Hearing today Rep Lamar Smith announced the Clinton Executive LLC was behind the Obstruction of justice ........did anyone else catch that ?

Republicans made it plain that the issue isn’t fading soon. Rep. Lamar Smith, R-Texas, the chairman of the Science, Space and Technology Committee who was permitted to attend and pose questions, said he had just issued three more subpoenas to private IT firms working on the Clinton server. Their responses, he said, suggest “obstruction of justice” and “continues a Clinton habit of secrecy, not transparency.”
