CNN has been a hoot on the birther thing. Don Lemon says questioning the president's birthplace is racist, but only if the president is black. Van Jones agrees. It doesn't have to make sense. The claim can be totally irrational, but still must be respected.

Well, I'll give him that irrationality is part of dealing with humans, but they are still irrational humans.

CNN is going to continue flogging this until Trump answers personally, and they are of a mind that Hillary is going to flare up at the accusation the birther contention started with her. Actually, it started with the sleeve on Obama';s book, where Obama himself claimed to be born in Kenya.

The racists like Van Jones, Don Lemon and Hillary Clinton are going to push for an apology from Trump, that he ever even accused Obama of being born other than in Hawaii; especially his accusation that the image of the HI BC produced by Obama is not authentic.

The more Hillary fights this, and the more CNN and the rest bring up the history, the more risk that people become aware there is a question about the authenticity of the BC produced by Obama. Trump doesn't have to carry the ball.

There have been five "birther presidents." The first four were white Republicans. Racist? Hardly.

Impossible to do without giving the press what they are badgering him for. He can say 1,000 times that he is not going to adress the question, and the question will persist, and even become the obsession and focal point of the press.
