Greg Hill, the head football coach at San Francisco’s Mission High School, was standing on the sideline Saturday afternoon before a game in Marin County when it occurred to him that a player or two might take action during the national anthem.
As the song began, Hill, 41, turned toward his team and was taken aback by what he saw.
Every player on the roster — black, white, Latino, Asian — was on one knee, an echo of the hotly debated move by 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick to protest racial inequality and police brutality. In that moment, Hill said, he saw a team that had decided to experience “this historical moment” as a unit.

Its pretty clear that these advertisers do NOT disagree with the disrespect displayed against the national anthem.
I think it is understandable given the effects of CTE and other brain injuries suffered playing football. In short, they are all brain damaged.

Anyone realize how we’re being played? The NFL DOES have control of the cameras inside the stadium. They could just turn the cameras elsewhere and not bring attention to anyone other than a few Facebook posts. The National Anthem is NEVER on TV during the regular season-only the playoffs/super bowl. The NFL is pushing this drama for whatever it can get. Next month it will be pink uniforms.

I'm a long-time member as well. I think for the most part their decisions are made with keeping costs down to members. Cost is all I care about right now. I don't think it's a big factor.
One of our local radio broadcasters calls them “squatters.” Much more appropriate, I think.
Sadly, these POSes will get away with their anti-American antics because the viewers care more about entertainment then the principle and characters required to turn off the boob-tube.
Any coach with a pair would go to the referee before the kickoff and say that his team was forfeiting the game because of the despicable behavior of his players during the National Anthem.
When I was a kid, the coach was the boss; not the players.
The players, their parents and fans would be pissed, but perhaps such action by a coach would prompt the parents and some of the players and fans to put pressure on the players to stop behaving like brain-washed idiots.
This country has given these people everything! They live lives most Americans can only dream of and what is their response? =
They are spitting on the flag, the national anthem, the American citizens/fan who pay their exorbitant salaries and most importantly they are spitting on our service men and women and on our beloved nation of America itself!
May they rot, may their teams utterly fail and may everyone involved in enabling them be put to shame and dishonor.
