A knife-wielding man who injured eight people at a mall in central Minnesota Saturday evening asked at least one victim whether they were Muslim and referenced Allah during the assault, authorities said Wednesday.
St. Cloud Police Chief William Blair Anderson said the suspect, whom he did not identify, was shot and killed by an off-duty police officer from another jurisdiction. All but one of the eight victims had been treated and released from a local hospital and all were expected to survive their injuries.
Police responded reports of several stabbings at the Crossroads Mall at around 8:30 p.m. local time. Witnesses also reported hearing gunshots at the scene.

I would be willing to bet that the authorities are still trying to determine a motive, but they probably say it had nothing to do with Islam or terrorism.

3. The attack was ended by a concealed carry permit holder armed with a gun

I was thinking that they must be ginning up a lawsuit for racism against the officer who killed him. Has to be. Obama will be in the middle of it saying that the officer acted stupidly.
Also worthy of note, all today’s terrorism including NYC, followed hours after the “accidental” USAF bombing of Assad’s forces killing dozens.
I believe this is the first open, direct attack on Assad’s forces.

The local NBC news here made it sound like the Attacker asked People if they were Muslim before he stabbed them.
The next Story was about Trump’s Comment about Hillary getting rid of her Armed Guards. Of course the slant was the Gun Control angle was perceived as a threat to her.

The good news if you can call it that is that Chris Christie will not sugar coat this since he is pulling for Trump.

WJON News - is the search info. Some of the people who were in the mall say that the man asked the shoppers whether they were Muslims, and then attacked those who were not Muslims. It was fortunate that he only had a knife, and only one victim was admitted to the hospital for overnight stay. Seven were treated and released.
An attack like this during a presidential election with an unpopular Democrat candidate might just be the straw that breaks the stranglehood the Democrats have in Minnesota. I hope Trump can play up the need for more security and a halt to immigration from Muslim countries unless the people are Christians.
Central Minnesota is GOP territory. This will reinforce it I think.
