This was nuts. Far left activist Richard Fowler told the panel on Sunday Morning Futures the word “terror” is an offensive term because Muslims may have hurt feelings.

The problem is when you say the word ‘terror’ because of word association it automatically assumes you are talking about people of the Muslim faith. And that is why he said an intentional act and not terrorism because we don’t know if it was Muslim. None of these organizations have taken credit for it. So before we go out and start to blame and shame a whole religion we ought to be very careful and get all the facts first.

Reminds me a bit of how the term “illegal alien” has been banned from news organizations and political discussion.
It is a factual descriptive term. But it was deemed to be offensive (by the liberals who decree what we are allowed to say), so you don’t hear anyone use that term anymore.
We are allowed to say “illegal immigrants”, however. For now.
But the preferred term is “undocumented”. Heck they want us to think that these people are “undocumented” because they misplaced their documents, misplaced their driver’s license. So once they get their ID back, all is well.
