Let me encourage you to hang in there! People love receiving nice home-knit sweaters. I try and whip up a little Nordic knit sweater whenever a baby is born (usually a grandbaby to one of my friends).
Having said that, I am currently behind 2 sweaters. I’ve been spending too much time following The Donald around! Let me be the first to say it - Trump’s fault! lol

From the discussions I’ve heard on F&F this a.m. (and IIRC on Hannity last night) he’s kept his piehole shut on this. Discussion was to the gist of that the black community respected him and he should have come out and said it’s under investigation and that we should wait until that’s completed). If the guy that was killed in NC was anything like his brother - holey moley saw clips of the bro this a.m. and he doesn’t like whitey.
What lovely gifts to give. I have a couple of afghans that one of my grandmothers crocheted for me and I cherish them.
My sister used to do a little crocheting. She made a pillow for our mom and Christmas stockings for many. They’re individual squares in red, white and green that she stitched together with a large “knitted” look at the top in which she stitched the person’s name - they’re darling!
Varney (Fox Biz channel) just said that Trump was going to speak in PA about 1/2 hour from now on energy and they would take us there when he starts. He said not sure if he’ll mention NC. I’m not sure if they’ll carry the entire speech or dip in at the beginning.
Saw my first CLINTON sign yesterday. Maybe I’d seen them before but didn’t recognize them. They have the same coloring as Trumps. And DO NOT say HILLARY or HER just CLINTON. Not positive in my book. —A reminder of WJC (that dirty ol man)

It’s fun to personalize things - I have knitted Christmas stockings for all of us as well. They’re huge! I knitted them a little too loosely, as they have so much “give” I can no longer afford to fill them lol.
My daughter and her hubby are now raising sheep on their farm. They have bags of their wool from having them sheared this year. There is no market for it, which is a shame. I am tempted to learn how to card and spin it - seems like quite the project, but it might be fun.
Yeah! I think the folks in the energy biz know that Trump would be so much better for them than Hillary. He supports mines, miners and the pipeline, etc.
I noticed the article said that both presidential candidates were invited. It didn’t say she declined or didn’t respond.

The articles I’ve read say Hillary specifically declined the invitation.
I find that interesting and surprising that there is no market for the wool. I would think that some of the yarn manufacturing companies at the very least would want it.
Might be fun to learn to spin. Guess you’d then need to dye the yarn if you were going to use it.

Given you’re close to Pittsburg, what are you hearing/seeing for Trump support there? IIRC from what I’ve read, it’s decent. We always have to worry about Philly for votes for PA.

My co-worker just looked out the window and saw the TRUMP plane at the Airport! Our office is close to it and his window has a great view. Just saw it with his binoculars!
Took a pic but don’t know if it will zoom in close enough to show the plane.
