Interestingly, I think Cruz still has an opportunity to run in 2020. Even if Trump wins, I can't see him running for re-election in 2020 at the age of 74.

I would not be surprised if Cruz and Trump's team are engaged in serious discussions behind the scenes to get Cruz on board in some way. Personally, I think his best contributions would be in a key senior role in the U.S. Senate (or in a governor's office, which doesn't seem likely).

“I think Cruz still has an opportunity to run in 2020.”

How? He wasn’t eligible to run for president the first time around. Nothing’s going to change with that in four year’s time.

I cannot see Cruz being named to anything by Trump.

Cruz is not a natural born citizen.
He is not eligible to be President.

yea Alberta’s Child, 2020, that’s the ticket!

Cruz can run for Prime Minister of Canada.

He is an NBC of Canada, not the USA.

Born in Alberta, Canada. (sounds familiar, eh? )

Both parents were Canadian voters = Canadian citizens.
