Exactly my thoughts... He has missed many opportunities to nail Hillary to the wall. It may be strategy to improve on every debate? Set the bar low from the start? I hope so.. He let her play offense and he ended up counterpunching the entire debate.

trump’s objective is not offense or defense it is looking reasonable and having his unfavorable go down more than Hillary. From that standpoint he has won handily.
