I used to want a Mustang. Now I'd rather have a Glock 42.

Several years ago, after a few training classes, I went from 1911s and Milt Sparks to Glocks and Raven Concealment. Never looked back.

It’s a function of beauty. the angles and curves of a 1911 for some reason people find “sexy”. The Glock, on the other hand is a triumph of minimalist design. The Glock is about as sexy as a 2X4. But it works. each and every time. It’s that rock solid reliability and consistency that sells it. All firearms at their heart are machines. It’s just that some designs transcend that and are considered artistic as well. While I find the artistic nature appealing, My primary concern is functionality. It can look like crap so long as it goes “bang” each and every time.

photo 16 - 1_zpsohs2hkfo.png I've owned several semi-auto pistols. The only ones that I've kept are my 1911s.

Everyone has their choices for weapons. If we all bought the same one or ones it would put others out of business. Question? Has anyone bought and fired the new Henry 44? I am kind of interested.
