Trump campaign: New York Times illegally obtained state tax records
Conservative Firing Line ^ | 10/02/2016 | Joe Newby

How far is the Democrat-media complex willing to go to get Hillary Clinton elected? Try this… On Saturday, the New York Times published some of Donald Trump’s state tax returns from 1995, prompting the campaign to accuse the “news” outlet of engaging in illegal activity, the Daily Caller reported.

“The only news here is that the more than 20-year-old alleged tax document was illegally obtained, a further demonstration that the New York Times, like establishment media in general, is an extension of the Clinton campaign, the Democratic Party and their global special interests,” the campaign said.

On Saturday evening, the New York Times — which recently endorsed Hillary Clinton for president — published three pages of Trump’s 1995 income tax documents.

“The pages were mailed last month to Susanne Craig, a reporter at The Times who has written about Mr. Trump’s finances,” the paper explained in the story. “The documents were the first page of a New York State resident income tax return, the first page of a New Jersey nonresident tax return and the first page of a Connecticut nonresident tax return.”

The newspaper wrote in its story that Marc E. Kasowitz threatened “prompt initiation of appropriate legal action” against the Times if they published the records because Trump did not give permission for the records to be disclosed.

But it seems the Times is more concerned with getting Hillary elected than following the law.

WHO WAS THE ‘SOMEONE’?

Inquiring minds want to know.
And who did not see this coming.

There will never even be an investigation.

It is doubly curious because Hillary made several veiled allusions during the first debate to Trump’s taxes as if she were laying the foundation for a future attack.

With an IRS Commissioner on the hot seat and deserving of impeachment, anything is possible. Clinton, Inc., is not interested in the truth, provided that they can “spin” the media coverage.

So then...they committed false publishing then hey?

One way or another, they are guilty and will be sued.

Lynch has no authority in this matter. The individual state Dept. of Justices have investigative responsibility.

When wikileaks published the DNC emails that somebody just gave them that was a crime, but the NYT isn’t, according to the dems.

NYT has a non-story on it’s hands, apparently published the taxes of a private citizen, illegally, and now we learn it was they, in 2014, who also enjoyed a profit, in excess of 20 million and, issued bonuses and paid.no.taxes., themselves.

Bannon ROCKS. He proves he can match David Brock, in firing back.

Some info on some individuals at NYT may end up passively sent to a friendly outlet.

Do they have no fear?

They can say that the forms were “just nailed to them” but unless they can produce the person that “mailed” the forms then the NYT is on the hook. Trump attorneys can claim that the NYT mailed them to themselves.

Undoubtedly, some Clinton flunkie at the IRS slipped it to them and they slipped it to the Slimes.

Who cares, anyway?

“More recently, for tax year 2014, The New York Times paid no taxes and got an income tax refund of $3.5 million even though they had a pre-tax profit of $29.9 million in 2014. In other words, their post-tax profit was higher than their pre-tax profit. The explanation in their 2014 annual report is, “The effective tax rate for 2014 was favorably affected by approximately $21.1 million for the reversal of reserves for uncertain tax positions due to the lapse of applicable statutes of limitations.” If you don’t think it took fancy accountants and tax lawyers to make that happen, read the statement again.”

At top of Drudge!

When about half the country is living off the taxpayers, paing NO taxes, and even getting money back in the form of “earned income credits”, I don’t give a DAMN about Trump avoiding taxes using LEGAL DEDUCTIONS.

Trump didn’t design the system that allows these deductions, he’s just using them to his advantage, as would any businessperson.

Try taking the mortgage deduction away from liberals, they howl like banshees.

So long as Trump passes the audit, the IRS is satisfied...so long as Trump pays any extra tax they might find, this tax thing is a non-starter.

How about an independent audit of the Clinton Foundation?

Regardless of who started the process, the documents clearly came from the same IRS that has admitted to persecuting the Tea Party and other independent conservative groups.

Koskinen shouldn’t just be impeached. He should be prosecuted.
