I came home early with the nausea/sickly crud, so I crashed and haven’t watched this love fest.
It was a wise choice. I’d be cleaning tossed cookies off the walls of my bedroom.

So was I — but I actually paid attention.
VP debates have been seated debates for a while. I remember Cheney’s debate with Lieberman was seated. But I’m pretty sure back in the 90s that Kemp v Gore was standing. And Quayle v Gore v Stockdale was standing at podiums.
Not a fan of Luntz, but sure glad to read that one!
Pence has owned this... Kaine is trying to be an attack dog, but you can tell he doesn’t even believe most of what he’s saying... he’s doing what he’s told to do.
Pence is being himself, and being honest, at all times, and its obvious. Kaine lost this, at every level.
Even the left press has to be realizing he lost this....
I doubt this will move the needle at all, because VP debates rarely have any effect, but if it does it will be in Trump’s favor.

The Speaker of the House gets three questions that are the SAME for both candidates.
The Minority Leader of the House gets three questions that are the SAME for both candidates.
The Moderator reads ALL questions and keeps track of how much time each candidate has. If a person goes over their time their mic is turned off until the time’s equal within a minute or two. “
A Trump presidency could put this into practice.

Maybe yes, BUT I wish we had someone doing it for our side occassionally!!!? Sheesh.
