U2 frontman Bono berated Donald Trump at a Dreamforce benefit concert in San Francisco Wednesday night, blasting the Republican presidential candidates proposal to build a wall on the U.S.-Mexico border and shouting Youre fired! at the candidates onstage projection.

Better yet, just shut up.
There is an old saying, “Don’t $hit where you eat.” Entertainers need to heed that advice. That includes football players as well.
taxes for thee but not for me...another left wing hypocrite:
Bono defends U2’s tax arrangements as ‘sensible’
“U2 sparked a wave of criticism in 2006 by shifting parts of its business affairs from Ireland to the Netherlands in response to a cap on tax breaks for artists in the republic the move that inspired the protest at the 2011 Glastonbury festival. “

Two different rides in my cab yesterday mentioned 1) that they went to see U2 and 2) that Bono did the Trump thing, like 15 minutes quite scripted as he “argued” with the Trump on a projection screen.
I never bring politics up in my cab, these were both volunteers.
One mentioned that two men in front of him were Trump supporters and did not enjoy the “show.”
Regardless of who you support for Pres I find ranting at a rather stuck crowd to be lousy manners. I wouldn’t have done it “for” Trump or “against” Hilary, either, that is a captive audience (I know, they could head for the exits) and it is frickin’ rude.
I’m sure I’ll end my days as one of those teardrops on somebody’s cheek . . .
A merging of cultures.
None of the music that U2 put out is classic.
He’s overrated
Please don't. Their music since the early 90's has sounded the same, crappy. I wish they would give it up, pack it up, and leave the scene.
A foreigner comes into the USA to work and then immediately proceeds to disparage half the American public who are voting for Trump.
He should have been immediately deported.
“Bonos a hypocrite on taxes,”
Big time :-).
“and didnt give GWB the credit he deserved on money for AIDS in Africa.”
Actually, he did for a while there. I was floored.
“Hes a liberal jerk.”
Yep, and a hypocrite like the rest of his crowd.
From a music standpoint, I loved the stuff they released in the 1990s (Achtung Baby, Zooropa, and Pop).
However, it seems that people wanted the same Joshua Tree mixed with Unforgettable Fine crap repeated infinitely from those guys, so they’ve stuck to that formula and haven’t deviated from it much ever since.
As for spending money on that band be it concerts or recordings ... never again. Pop was the last album I bought (back in 1997) ... I got free tickets to one of their concerts a few years ago ... I wouldn’t pay to see them spew their political nonsense if my life depended on it :-). He’s Bruce Springsteen with an Irish accent though at least Bono can sing w/o sounding like a brick is stuck in his colon.
Maybe he can warm up for Pink Floyd?
I’ll drink to that! :)
Just went to Paul McCartney in Sacramento and almost 100% sure he left 2016 politics out. However, I did not have a view of the video screens behind him.
wish Trump would start playing his music at rallies to piss him off..LOL!
Come on, Paul (Hewson ... his real name) ... Trump hasn't even 'taken the job' yet. Do you really think the Hildabeast would do any better helping poor Third Worlders get 'micro-loans' (one of Bono's pet causes)? Something tells me Trump would do a much better job of it.
When ‘South Park’ lampoons Bono as the world largest piece of crap...
His net worth is said to be $600 million. So my guess is that you're correct.
