I’ll still be voting for him. I am pretty sure the vast majority of FReepers will still be voting for him.

That isn’t the problem.

How many “soft” supporters are going to stay home now? That is where this kills him.

Or the fact that Bill settled a sexual harassment lawsuit with Paula Jones during his time in the W.H. Nobody talks about that, not even republicans. Of course, the left managed to turn Paula into a clown back in the day. But the hypocrisy of the Clintons knows no bounds. Trump should just mention Hillary’s hypocrisy in that she and the Clintons tried to destroy Paula Jones, Juanita Broderick, Kathleen Willey, Monica Lewinsky, and even Linda Tripp.

Most grown men unfortunately, do talk that way.

And this will not be an issue to adults who understand that men aren't saints or choir boys.

The idea that Trump has anything to apologize for when the alternative is putting the pervert Bill Clinton back into the WH is utter idiocy.

By the way, Truman was known for his cursing and no one seems to have a problem with that.

” ..... utter idiocy.”

It’s about winning the election. If you don’t believe it will have an impact on some voters, you’re wrong.

Does or did your father talk that way? Mine certainly didn’t. I don’t either. Yeah, I did when I used to lay around a fraternity house in college but not much since then.

The election will be close. We don’t need more negatives in an election this close. It was an uphill battle already.

I am friends with a woman that used to work directly under Hillary Clinton when Bill was president. She saw Hillary almost every day. No one used more offensive and vulgar language than Hillary. Hillary was a raging bitch. I know this. The person I know would not vote for Hillary. Most her staff could not stand her.

It’s not me that Trump needs to win over. It’s millions of voters on the fence. Trump is battling the democrats and the media. The comments will not help him.

Once more, an overreaction by those who seem to live in another world.

Most Americans are exposed to a very coarse world, and see and hear things every day that are tame to what Trump said.

All one has to have is access to HBO or Showtime.

So, stop with the idiocy of 'these comments won't help him'

You are just aiding the enemy.

I don’t think so. I am just being a realist.

Have a good day.

I’m just disgusted with people making a big deal about of something silly like this. No wonder the country is in the shape it’s in.

Sorry, but Pence isn’t perfect. I bet that he has said things in his life that he regrets.

BTW, I just tolerate Pence because Trump selected him. I’m not a big fan. He’s too milquetoast and not much of a fighter.

My point: no one is perfect, even Pence.

Trump deserves credit for picking Pence. He is an excellent pick for the ticket.

Exactly. I have said things that I wish I could take back - and not just once.

I never expected Trump to be perfect - or any other candidate I have supported. When I heard his comments, my reaction was: Is that all they have on him? Surely this cannot be the October surprise.

What surprises me the most is the quick, instantaneous reaction from so-called Republicans such as Ryan, Mike Lee, and others. It was as if they had set it up, didn't even wait for Trump's response. So eager to trash trump. Over what? Just long ago words. What about Hillary's actions?

If you lived in the real world you would realize that is normal speech for the average man today.

Instead you are about to faint in shock like some mid-Victorian lady.

Trump will kick Hillary’s ads in the debate. Can’t wait for the media has drop.

Oh, please.

Like the American public has never heard pussy before?

Like American men don’t talk like this?

How many Americans died because he used the word pussy?

Trump should not play into any narratives set by the media or stupid GOP “leaders”.

This is a nothing burger.

A complete media/GOP insider hit job.

After all we have endured over the last 8 years, this is thing the GOP gets incensed about?

Fire them ALL!

Trump was in his late 50s when he made those comments. Seems he would have grown out of it by then.

I believe in showing a little class. I guess that escapes you.

Let’s end this now. You’re not the kind of person I would want to associate with and there is no reason to go back and forth. Goodbye.

David committed his great sin when he was about 50.

Goodbye.

Spot on. I smell a rat in this, a giant GOPE, Romney-Bush rat.
