You are absolutely correct. Republicans and conservatives don't do civil unrest. Civil unrest is usually the province of either paid-for protesters organized by a core anti-American group(e.g the CPUSA that is behind the Black Lives Matter movement)or people who feel that they are part of an idea--America--worth dying for.
This latter group I would call PATRIOTS.
A modern Genghis Khan, another Temüjin could arise recast as a genius of guerilla organization, imbued with the imperative of casting off fetters imposed by outside empire. Negating the various concentrated entities provision of support for that empire, would prune the usurper's source of strength; and, shift favor to the people rather than the state.
