The GOP’s brutal responses to the new Trump video, broken down
MSN News ^ | October 8, 2016 | Aaron Blake

And the denunciations that have rolled in so far are coming from all sides of the party — from those who support Trump to those who have long opposed him to those close to him who are offering platitudes about how what he said was wrong, but that he's still better than Hillary Clinton.

Below, the five emerging categories of Trump critic:

This is why I refuse to support the Republican Party. They can’t even put their differences aside to save our country. This is the same party that was given a majority in the past two elections to oppose Obama yet failed to do so or only put up token resistance. I believe that both parties are in collusion to change America and that our representatives are only interested in obtaining wealth and power for themselves.

Let’s see. The last time “both” sides told him to pull out it was the gold star Muslim phony issue. Maybe next week it will be something else. Yawn.

It was a silly tape people need to watch it. Not worthy of all this they were being totally facetious.

I’m hell-bent on never voting for them again.

I have no use or need for them any more.

I firmly believe Jeb was behind this. So glad we didn’t nominate that truly disgusting man - nasty to subordinates by reputation, scared to death of Mom and his midget wife. I have no respect for him.

Ditto.

There is a distinct recognizable odor emanating from the list of RINO's calling for Trump to step aside...several failed to beat him in the primaries.

Thankfully the GOP/RNC powers that be have nothing to do with the success of Donald Trump.

Therefore what they say matters little one way or another.

I am sure the Bush family knew this was going to happen. They were probably looking at several ways to take Trump down.

CBS NEWS SPECIAL REPORT

Hi Folks, Dan Rather here. I’m coming out of retirement to report this special CBS News bulletin.

While a single fake but accurate memo from George W. Bush’s Air National Guard unit was enough to prove that he was unfit to be president, the thousands upon thousands of documents that prove Hillary Clinton’s corruption has the value of a dead possum on the side of a rural Texas highway.

In other news, Hillary Clinton has decided that in support of the millions of Americans who can only find part time work, she will only accept bribes on a part time basis if elected president.

Meanwhile, an employee at one of Donald Trump’s properties was late for work three days in a row and was reprimanded by their supervisor. Proving once again, that Donald Trump is unfit to be president.

Stay with CBS News or any of our comrades at ABC, NBC, MSNBC, CNBC, CNN, FOX, AP, NYT, WJS, BBC, Reuters, Gannett, Tribune, Telemundo, Univision, Comcast, Sony, Weinstein Companies, Harpo Productions, Facebook, Yahoo, Google and Al Jazeera for the latest breaking news on the Donald Trump scandal of the day.

I don’t care if some of these Republicans say something like, “I don’t approve of his comments. They were inappriate.” I agree with that, although the reaction has been ridiculously overblown and it’s the height of hypocrisy that Hillary attacked him on this particular topic.

But for those Republicans who have hit him very hard (which can only help Hillary) and for those who have opposed him in general after he became the nominee, I simply will not vote for them for any position at any time in the future, regardless of the situation. The stakes in this election could not be higher for the survival of this country; I don’t need to be on the same team as proven back-stabbers—and it won’t matter by that point anyway after Hillary gives away the country, the Supreme Court, and citizenship to many millions of formerly illegal, new Dem voters.

This minor incident (all (real) men talk about women just as women talk about men) has driven the RINOs out of the shadows and into the spotlight.
