Except nobody in the Trump campaign is defending it, not even Trump. The press is calling for the campaign to defend the remarks, becuase the press is trying to get the campaign to step into a trap.
Rudy did fine against the loaded questions. I think Conway would have too, but can understand if she either doesn't feel like it (solidarity with women and all that) or calculated that Rudy would be more effective, less damaging. Riudy also suggesting scheduling, which may be that Conway is working with Trump on debate prep. I have a feeling that Conway is a much tougher person than she presents, and doubt she "dropped out" because of "woman solidarity."

It is typical of the Clintons to throw every excuse possible at a scandal and see which one resonates. Remember when Monica broke they argued that the Clintons raised a great kid... wtf? Often these excuses are at odds with each other but the public is too preoccupied to notice.

That shark photo wasn’t my post. Moreover, it was at least as old as 2012 circa Sandy, and possibly photoshop production. I eventually requested that pics reflect the location, source and properly credit the photographer.

The fact of the matter is anyone with a half a brain knows this, and the Establishment players and media VIPs absolutely know that the Clintons committed crimes, and are still up to it via the Clinton Foundation...
They DON’T CARE.
They just want their piece of the pie, and if that means screwing over the country, the people in it, the civilization they benefit from then so be it.

Great post. This has been going on for all of our lives, by the way. It just happens to be accelerating at this moment in history.
The ideal time to release it is just a few days before the election when there's no time to for Trump to effectively respond to it.
Trump knows it's out there, so he releases it on a holiday weekend (if you consider Columbus Day a holiday), 48 hours before the next debate, and in a news cycle that's obsessed with a Hurricane.
