It’s very likely that the guy fell asleep at the controls. No drugs or alcohol involved, from what I’ve seen in the news reports. So he’ll have some doctor diagnose him with sleep apnea or something like that, and it will all be settled quietly.
It's amazing that when I listened to the same weather reports as they, I heard the weathermen say: full moon, high tide, hurricane, plenty of rain (which we didn't get), electricity will be out, stock up on food, fill your gas tank.
I heeded those words and despite 7 days of no electricity, I had plenty of gasoline in my car, batteries, flashlights and propane lanterns and food that lasted all week.
But the fools in njt couldn't understand that.
The engineer in the Hoboken accident probably fell asleep like the last guy in PA or just wasn't paying attention. He was full of it (IMHO) when he said he was going 10 mph.
I wouldn't trust NJT at all and don't forget it's a political dumping ground for state legislators, a good place to put friends and campaign workers.
