Sheldon Kest lost half the middle finger on his right hand in the Sept. 29 NJ Transit crash, so he's using a different gesture to let the agency know how he feels: a lawsuit.
Kest, a 66-year-old technology manager who lives in Tenafly, was on the Pascack Valley Line train when it crashed at Hoboken Terminal on Sept. 29, killing one person and injuring Kest and 107 others. Graphic photographs displayed during a press conference Tuesday at the Hilton in Newark called by Kest's lawyers included one of him being led away from the train with blood running down his face, while another was a close-up of his finger stitched closed after being severed midway up.

It's amazing that when I listened to the same weather reports as they, I heard the weathermen say: full moon, high tide, hurricane, plenty of rain (which we didn't get), electricity will be out, stock up on food, fill your gas tank.
I heeded those words and despite 7 days of no electricity, I had plenty of gasoline in my car, batteries, flashlights and propane lanterns and food that lasted all week.
But the fools in njt couldn't understand that.

I wouldn't trust NJT at all and don't forget it's a political dumping ground for state legislators, a good place to put friends and campaign workers.
Storm damaged railroad rolling stock gets replaced after flooding at federal government expense. Probably got the decision maker a bonu$ check.
I once knew a guy who lost all but the first section of his middle finger. He enjoyed flipping people off with the stub.
He can, but only half as well as before.
Probably got the decision maker a bonu$ check. >>
brand new tracks and railroad cars and switches, you bet..
