The San Antonio police chief said his officers who wore Donald Trump campaign hats on the airport tarmac Tuesday will be disciplined.
Chief William McManus said the officers wearing the “Make America Great Again” hats violated department policy. “SAPD officers are charged with protecting the entire community,” McManus said. “The officers displayed poor judgment.”
In a video Trump posted to Twitter, more than a dozen officers are seen around the Republican presidential candidate as he’s about to depart San Antonio. Officers can be heard saying, “Thank you sir” and seen giving the thumbs up sign before they walk away with the red baseball caps on.
“I expect them to know better than to give the appearance of endorsing a candidate while on duty and in uniform, regardless of the political campaign or the candidate,” the chief said in a statement.
San Antonio Mayor Ivy Taylor said in a Twitter post she was deeply disappointed by the officers’ lack of judgment. “Police must be above politics & serve everyone equally… Everything they do should send that message and today’s actions did not.”

The sodomites have a parade and the cops participate, at least the brass does IN UNIFORM. If a plain old police officer participates in uniform, in anything to do with something that tees off the liberals, it is against their code.
MCManus needs to “find” religion when he is alone and can be persuaded. I am so tired of Americans playing by the rules when reptiles like McManus abuse the power of their positions to punish American’s God-given right to express their political beliefs. McManus has abused his power so he is fair game.

These aren’t liberals. Communists and fascists stole the term from us to make their evil ideology seem tolerable and compassionate, for which it is anything but.

The most these guys might get is a short letter of reprimand in their file for being out of uniform. They knew better but got caught up in the excitement of the moment. I would have worn the hat and taken my lumps.

I am told that local media beat Trump to making it public - it was on the news sites before he Twittered his copy apparently.
McManus is a POS SJW from Minnecraponus and every other liberal sewer. He is to San Antonio what “Out of Town” Lee P Brown was to Houston. McManus is despised by the rank and file in SAPD.
It’ a non issue anyway. If they wore BLM hats they’d be getting medals.
