It was already quite clear in 2009 that the NFL was being run by gutless politically correct billionaires and a union interested in propagating the Democratic Party line. Goodell saying Rush Limbaugh had made “polarizing” comments and Irsay vowing to vote against him in his ownership bid were symptomatic of what’s wrong with this corporate behemoth. They deserve to be brought down and brought down hard.

I think in the end, there will be two groups who kinda leave the NFL. One group will stick around to watch strictly games with their “favorite” team only....instead of watching three or four games over each week.

The second group will just say adios, period.

For the NFL when they meet after the Super Bowl and discuss matters....I think they will realize what happened and adapt....which means means contracts for players and coaches slip a notch in the spring....even for the four-star players. People within the players union will ask what the heck happen, and get the dose of reality they needed.

Coming back? I don’t think so. I think people have grasped the gimmick of the NFL and it’s design. All of this agenda or focus business is fake....so why get all hyped up?

That’s because some shoe company paid a buttload of money for their shoes to be worn. Now if the National Anthem had a corporate sponsor who didn’t like all of this sitting and kneeling...

We don’t have any say over whether San Antonio punishes its rank-and-file LEOs when they express political opinions, but we don’t have to watch football when they do the same.
So there it is.
Go to `ell, NFL.

Had to be all those folks still staying in hotels/motels after Super Hurricane Matthew (otherwise known as Katrina II).

After all, hotels have the Porn Channel.

I noticed the fool with the Afro has been given the starting position.

Looks like the NFL has a death wish. Or they figure an enraged opposing team member will take him out.

The people who actually work and buy things in this country are realizing the 4 hours formerly used to watch overpaid leftist SJW’s can be used to do many other things - time with the kids, cleaning the yard, going for a walk, getting some extra sleep, etc...

It’s too bad, I like watching the playoffs when the weather turns cold

You need not worry about that. The NFL will not go away. They will still do their thing, they just won't make as much money doing it.

I must get 400 or more channels on my TV. They gotta have something to show. I've seen them running demolition derby on the MAVTV channel before.

A few years ago I was watching one or two games on Sunday, and also Monday Night Football. The combined changes to the game, the worsening insulting commercials on TV, the pink stuff, the political correctness, the thugs, all combined to reduce my viewing as of last year to a few minutes. The national anthem stuff was the last straw.

I haven’t watched so much as 1 second of NFL this year. It’s been remarkably easy to let it go. I don’t care what the League does now. Their product is too far gone to interest me. The sad thing is, I never expected this to happen, and if you’d told me 5 years ago that I’d not be watching any NFL, I’d have shrugged that off as being so unlikely as to be impossible.

What else could possibly be the cause?

Its the utter lack of respect the NFL has for trans-gendered, LQBQT players. We need more homosexuals on the field, mincing about, showing the diversity of the sport. Perhaps they could arrange a gay marriage between the Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Vikings to show the unity of all Americans behind total gayness?

Politics has no place for sports.

Colts fan here, we have to stick together on this.

Good for them! I would not want to watch a game seeing people kneel and dishonoring the anthem! And then at the same time they ban patriotic clothes!

If these millionaires wanted to save breasts, they could announce they were each giving a million dollars to their communities to pay for mammograms for women.

The local radio station (Washington,PA) had this story on their top of the hour news report. The reporter said the NFL thinks its because it’s a election year and most “men” are watching politics????!!! I yelled at the car radio “You clueless dolt!”
