WASHINGTON — Early voting numbers in Virginia are dramatically higher compared with the 2012 general election.
Whether it’s the candidates, the coverage or the fact more people know of the commonwealth’s option for some residents to vote early, 22 percent more people across the state have already cast a ballot compared the election four years ago. The data measures the early votes received 25 days before the elections.

I don’t think that this is a bad sign for Trump. Lots of people will be voting for Hillary, to be sure, especially in Northern Virginia. However, there are very few Hillary voters who are enthusiastic about her. People who are not enthusiastic don’t generally vote early. Of course there are exceptions to this, however I will stick by my first statement that this can’t be bad for Trump.

Yeah, it could be Trump voters wishing to avoid the intimidation factor. It could be ramped up early voting by both parties. It could be voter fraud.

I heard that he was giving up VA too, but afterward I heard it Pence went and did a rally in Salem....
Trump is not giving up on VA. Pence was here yesterday or the day before and he’s running ads on all stations....and I’m in No. VA.
These are all very left wing areas. Not good in my estimation.
We’ll find out soon enough.

Townhall is a Cheap Labor Express propaganda outlet
The cities of Fairfax, Falls Church and Alexandria, and Fairfax, Arlington, Loudoun, and Prince William Counties are all Northern Virginia DemocRAT strongholds. The rest in that chart less so. Will be interesting to see what those early voting results will be.

You raise an interesting point .... why no data on Central and Southern VA? Why only data from Beirut on the Potomac?
I live in VA and did not know we had early voting until about a week ago.
