Look at Waco if you want to know the outcome of armed citizen resistance to American governmental authority.
With a Clinton victory in November any pretense of a “free country” will be long gone here in America. Gone with the wind you might say.
Nice find.
38 states. And these people have no clue what’s about to hit them. Absolutely no clue.

History repeats....always has.
People in 1776 and 1788 had plenty of bills and responsibilities, and lived far closer to the edge than almost anyone in America lives now.
You are correct in that it cannot be a man-the-barricades revolution. But imagining that everything will be OK by spending a few minutes in a voting booth a few times a decade, or spending a month or two promoting a secular messiah is foolish occupation.
Brother against brother...yes. State against state....no.
The idea of states banding together to fight or defend DC are ante-bellum.
Should TSHTF, think Africa, the Balkans, Russia in 1917. The front line will NOT be a state boundary, but your front gate, your driveway, your front door.
Actually living closer to the edge makes it easier to drop everything and man the barricades. If you don’t have a job anyway you can’t lose your job. Of course even then a lot of work went into making payroll for the army of the revolution. That’s when you know society is really hitting a breaking point, when somebody is giving the revolution a budget.
I don’t know about things being OK, but I do know life will go on. It might go on sucky, but it will go on.
Yep. A long slow decline, ‘not with a bang but a whimper’, is a much more likely fate for Western Civilization.
If you’ve ever gutted a deer....well.....the innards of one mammal are no different than the innards of another.
You are missing the big picture. States are the last line of defense against an out of control Federal Govt. They can convert seamlessly and easily into sovereign countries by design.
Or just a lot of griping. People like to complain.
How close are we to the breaking point? My nephew is an EMT who works downtown Atlanta, in an ambulance they call the “Stab Cab.” He says it is not widely known just how far society has broken down, almost to post-apocalyptic levels.
And he is a huge Trump supporter.
Bump.
When Russia was the leading communist state, they were slavishly devoted to it and did whatever Russia’s leaders wanted them to. Now, Russia is not devoted to communism, it is a kind of authoritarian crony state that is pursuing regional interests. The US under Obama has supplanted the Soviet Union as the future of global socialism and one world rule. So now, Russia is the bad guy. Russia is just another villain to demonize to pursue the agenda of gaining total control in the US and then extending that control to the entire world. Hillary is the next step in that process. If war must be had to get there, so be it.
...each other.

I disagree. The sovereignty of individual states is little more than a claptrap for state politicians. Even IF there is a referendum, no state government will set itself up to be in direct confrontation with DC.
I’m a reasonably good researcher. Back many years ago, I used Who’s Who to locate Republicans and Independents to call and ask for donations for the GOP and I got a lot of contributions.
Not if Obama and the Greater Caliphate have their way. Look at how far Europe has fallen in a few years. Obama/Hillary and the rest of the globalists intend to throw open the borders and the US will be buried in a human wave liberally spiced with actual terrorists. Trump must win or the decline will be fast and those Never Trumpers and Vichy Republicans like Ryan who think they can win in 2020 will be sorely disappointed.
That didn't work out so well last time it was tried.
You are confusing the Civil War with secession. The secession worked perfectly. The South formed a government and created a military in less than 2 months. The war was lost, which took 4 years, but the South proved how quickly and seamlessly a new government can formed around a few or many states.
