Beside term limits, I’m wondering why these congress critters can’t live and stay in their districts, and conduct their business over telephones and the internet. The swamp will never be drained as long as they are allowed to go to DC and party and conspire. It’s the 21st century for crying out loud.
To be fair, technology today is good enough to mask or even completely fake a person’s appearance on video. Case in point from 2011:
A Congress that meets via tele-presence is only going to invite more fraud.
