Rubio: I Won't Talk About Wikileaks, and Neither Should Donald Trump
Abcnews.com ^ | Jonathan Karl and Ben Siegel

Sen. Marco Rubio tells ABC News Republicans are making a mistake by jumping on allegedly hacked emails released by Wikileaks to criticize Hillary Clinton. In fact, he says he won’t talk about the hacked emails at all. "As our intelligence agencies have said, these leaks are an effort by a foreign government to interfere with our electoral process and I will not indulge it,” Rubio tells ABC news. "Further, I want to warn my fellow Republicans who may want to capitalize politically on these leaks: Today it is the Democrats. Tomorrow it could be us."

We don’t necessarily know that the emails were hacked.

The emails may have been supplied by a whistle-blower. The hacking could be a cover story to protect an asset.

These Cucks ALWAYS choose to virtue signal and believe the media/democrats and seek their favor

Exactly. And take their base for granted.

I don’t recall the media having a blackout of the illegally taped phonecall between Newt Gingrich and his lawyer.

Rubio is stuck on stupid.

Information is Power and Information is where you find it. It is called research.

Wikileaks went digging and found treasure, now they are happy to share.

To be sanctimonious in this digital age is to be like the last charter member of the Flat Earth society looking at pictures of earth taken from the moon.

It’s a stunning example of living in Washington DC too long turns your brain to mush.

Rubio isn’t mush brained. He’s a calculating careerist throwing his supporters under the bus here. Again. He did the same 5 minutes after he arrived in DC when he wrote his amnesty bill.

The last I heard, we had nothing to fear from the NSA sniffing all of our conversations... if we have nothing to hide. Strange that same thinking doesn’t apply to our political “betters.”

Assange is in the Equadorian embassy in London. Russia doesn’t have anything to do with his internet access.

I know, which is exactly my point. Hillary claiming that Russia is behind the Wikileaks is ludicrous.

No, he’s pandering to Democrats. A Rubio specialty. And they are running with his comments big time. Another back stab of his party’s nominee. Unacceptable.

Nor when Wikileaks was leaking stuff about the Bush administration.

Rubio fancies himself a foreign policy guy. In reality he likes to talk about it because as a Senator it’s all hot air.

An effort by a foreign government?

I think Bill Clinton leaked everything. He had access, motive....

My Senator is just as bad...Toomey. Can’t vote for him, and the Dem is corrupt criminal but perhaps if she is elected perhaps she could be thrown in jail.

So sick of the elitist Republicans.

Rubio was supposed to be the GOP-e nominee

Thank You Governor Christie. But actually Rubio ( I combine his names and shorten them to Mario) took himself out of the game. He proved Christie's point that he did not have a deep understanding of the issues, only a memorized script of talking points.

He was so devoid of depth that when he was pushed he robotically went back to the well of his memorized points a second, third and 4th time. That was so shallow and embarrassing to watch.

Sorry Mario, game over.

At least he is willing to admit they're crooks too.

Rubio, I will not waiver in my resolve NOT to vote for you here in Florida. I hope there is a libertarian candidate running against you. If not, I will do a write in for someone else, you treasonous bastard. Hell is too good for you

I urge you to vote for the Democrat. Rubio is still going to win, but the vote totals between Trump and Rubio need to reflect our displeasure with Rubio.

The 'Rats have already done that and a lot more. You can bet as soon as the 'Rats get any kind of dirt on a 'Pub they'll have their friends in the media shouting it from the rooftops. It will be the lead item on every newscast.

I guess Rubio thinks we should play the usual 'Pub role of just taking it lying down. Well, I'm tired of having our people ply the gentleman while the 'Rats kick us in the nuts. Time to fight back, and hello to you, Donald Trump.

If Trump had 100 percent support among these guys, he’d be doing even better.

And this is a valid point. Our own side is constantly busy stabbing our nominee in the back. They cannot simply shut up, they have to open their mouths in a manner derogatory to our candidate.

In a free and fair election with support from his own party Trump wins in a landslide of Reaganesque proportions. I want this more than anything and pray it happens. I would crawl over broken glass to vote for him etc. Even with the usual rampant fraud and cheating Trump would win IF HE HAD SUPPORT FROM HIS OWN PARTY. He is battling the world and his own brothers in arms are turning the guns on him. It sickens me but this is why i think he will lose. I still have hope but am trying to prepare myself. Did you read my whole post or just the first sentence? Are you really that pollyannaish to believe that Trump will win if you say it enough times? I am simply facing reality. Why does this make me a troll?

The little rat just lost two votes over this. We watched the debate the other night as he tried to dance on the line of constantly criticizing Trump (taking the bait from Murphy and Karl and the other questioners), but not formally un-endorsing Trump.

This BS is a bridge too far. Bye bye punk.
