Al Gore, speaking from the White House the week after having lost the general election, explains why he refused to concede the race:
"The effort that I have underway is simply to make sure that all of the votes are counted, and when the issues that are now being considered in the Florida Supreme Court are decided, that will be an important point. But I don't want to speculate what the court will do."

The ABC post-debate “discussion” attempted to address this by claiming that Gore had plenty of justification to dispute the election, and further that Trump would never have any reason to question his results.
Anyone notice that no matter what the situation, the rules are ALWAYS different for Democrats??
The only justification for anything a Leftist/Democrat does is “the ends always justify the means.” Whether it be unjustifiably contesting elections or lying about the reasons for doing so.
The USSC stopped the count----presumably b/c they surmised what was happening.
In his post-election book, Gore whined that Jim Baker, Bush's lawyer, was always three steps ahead of them in court.

Getting the voters of America ready for another long, drawn out voting problem because Hillary isn’t going to win...
The ONLY solution for this to be prevented is a total ‘landslide’ for Trump...my thinking is if we over whelm the voting, they have nothing to stand on to say Trump didn’t win fair and square...
There are 16 states with Soros voting machines, ask for a receipt before you leave the voting machine to prove that you voted for Trump, or take a cell phone picture before you pull the handle...
Don’t underestimate the dirty tricks from the media and the democrats, but also, don’t underestimate what Trump supporters will do to keep it honest...
I just don’t see what all the big “stir” is about what Trump said. It’s as though the media is obsessed with casting anything Trump says in the most extreme light, in the way that damages him the most.
If it is some sort of a land slide margin for Clinton, does anybody really think Trump is going to refuse to accept it? Come on, people. No, the problem is going to come if, say for example, the election hangs on one state’s results. Say Pennsylvania, or another state, is very close, within a few hundred votes, and Philly precincts continue to report more votes than they have registered voters. No way should he accept such results at face value. In that event, he should absolutely challenge the results and ask for a recount and investigation. You have to understand how democrats play this game.
At least then the votes COULD be re-counted.

When Wallace put that question to Trump I was quite surprised. That Donald would reply as he did was a bonus for enduring Hillary and her robot performance. Along with the precedent of Al Gore and company refusing to concede to Geo Bush there was another person trying to overthrow the results of that election. Bob Beckle was working hard to get electors to change their votes in spite of the fact that electors are pledged to vote for a certain candidate. Donald Trump and his team are again ahead of the democrat machine which lies, cheats, steals, elections. Great to have a Republican candidate who will not accept rules which no longer apply in this current climate of election fraud.
Might want to send this to Brit Hume. He said Trump’s position is “unprecedented”.

What he meant to say was that it is unprecedented for a Republican.
