Rush just made a GREAT point about the WH cover-up of "what Obama knew and when did he know it" regarding Hillary's private email server:

A couple of days after the email story hit the media in 2015, the WH removed itself from the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA).

Rush said it was to cover up Obama's emails with Hillary that went through the private server.

I think what she was saying is that when she went to a Trump rally, she wanted to volunteer for the campaign, but nobody showed any interest in signing her up.

I thought she was saying that there is a grass-roots get-out-the-vote movement ready to mobilize if Trump would just organize it.

That could be.

I was just half listeniing.

What I heard was, she started off saying she was for Trump because she hadn’t had a raise since 2004, and she thinks herself very competent, but there are no good jobs.

So she went to a Trump rally, and there was another attendee there who didn’t know how to get an absentee ballot for a family member, so she wanted to sign up for the campaign to help get out the vote.

But there wasn’t any set-up at the rally to sign up volunteers.

Then after Rush hung up on here, he said, “Trump does ask people to volunteer at his rallies.”

Then she said she asked people what they are willing to do. "Are you going to vote?" They say "yes." "Are you willing to take someone to the polls to vote" she asked. The answer was "All they asked me to do is vote."

I remember that. Maybe that's what gave me the impression that there was no effort to get people to do anything more than simply cast their own vote, e.g., not signing up volunteers for get-out-the-vote.

More tactically, GOTV has to be on election day to actually deliver the voter to the voting booth, not just register them. That's why I think she was asking for Trump to take a more active role in providing resources for people to self-organize.

I'm not sure what that might look like at this point, other than to ask people at rallies and TV commercials to knock on neighbors' doors and ask them if they need a ride to the polls.
