Unfortunately the damage may already be done. These fake polls have probably kept people from donating and working for Mr. Trump when those donations and efforts were most valuable.

Trump doesn't need money. He needs votes -- period. He gets this through good exposure, not paid ads on TV stations that fewer and fewer people watch anyway (see NFL ratings, for example).

Interestingly, there's good reason to believe that the mainstream media despises him because he's spent so little money on traditional advertising. He's the absolute worst candidate for TV networks, running his campaign ads through Twitter and YouTube. The only "advertising" he gives is during the televised debates -- which are commercial-free anyway.

BS. It has fired us up even more! I just brought my third family member to the Trump side and I’m bringing them all with me on election day. Everyone is tired of the media and turning the TV news off as well. Buck up FReeper, the trend is our friend and he’s going to win.

Sorry, but that’s BS....

THere is no doubt this “hillary has it won” a few weeks back, did have a psychological impact.. but they shot their wad too soon.. and also overplayed their hand... you see when you do this sort of psyops bs, it does have an effect, but its also a limited effect.. folks you are trying to influence, will fall for it, if they are pounded by it enough.... at least for a while.. but if their observable reality doesn’t match the psyops.. the effect wears off quickly, and not only that, it just angers and motivates them more against you.

If 2 weeks ago, the news reports were, “Its looking good fro Hillary” ... She’s polling a few points up 3-5 maybe... and not reporting hillary acting as if she’s already won... then the depressive effect on turnout which desired might have held.. but instead they put out polls that were just insane...

HIllary up 8, Hillary up 12...Hillary is already looking past Trump... etc etc etc.. that might deject someone for a day or two, but it doesn’t take them long to realize, their observed reality isn’t remotely where they are being told things are... an 8 point win for HIllary would be bigger than Obama in 08... That’s INSANE... We all saw Obama filling stadiums... young folks, angry moderates... etc all backing him... Hillary has NONE of that.. she can’t even fill venues of a few thousand people when she has a rally... but we are to believe she’s leading by more than Obama in 08??????? Then you put out this poll claiming a 12 point lead???? Which literally would be a better win that Reagan got against Carter???? The shock value wears off quickly and the dejection wears off quickly too when the claims and observable reality are so far apart....

Because they SO overplayed their hand, and they did it too early, the effect of depresssing the Trump support has worn out, and if anything they are MORE Motivated, if that is possible, and even MORE angry... This propaganda swing over the last 2 weeks or so to claim the election is over, is backfiring BIGTIME... their narrative is garbage, and they pulled the trigger on it too soon... its effects have already worn off... and because of it, any further attempt to claim it will be ignored.

And a surprising Boost and Motivator to help those recover from the depression of these psyops arrived from the most unlikely of sources.. Michael Moore’s few paragraphs about the Trump Voter.. which he delivered as part and set up of a larger attack on Trump... but edited without the follow up, are the first time many Trump supporters have heard ANYONE.. particularly on the left, validate exactly what they are feeling and motivated by... Moore for his part, was fairly honest in his assessments, that Trump supporters aren’t racists, or biggots or rednecks.... but folks who are tired of being screwed over by their own government and leaders... Moore’s description isn’t fully accurate of All Trump Supporters... but his realization and admission, that it is the people trying to take their country back from folks who are Screwing it all to hell, is absolutely right... What Moore has done, probably unknowingly has given Trump supporters validation, even though he did so with the intent to attack and destroy Trump.... He has offered them external validation, without belittlement and without dismissiveness, to their plight and motivations... and that Psychological is FAR FAR bigger than some gas lit overplayed biased polling...

Moore basically has probably done more to rally the EFF YOU vote, than anything prior, and I am sure that was not his intent when writing and recording those words.. you can tell by the editing that he is about to launch into how bad it will get once the feel good ends... but that’s irrelevant. This is the first external validation that most of these people have heard, in any significant way, let alone one that made an honest attempt to understand them, from any source, left or right, this entire cycle.

Moore’s intent I am sure was to take out Trump’s support, but by offering a rather honest articulation of the motivations of Trump’s supporters, without belittling or calling them names...he’s probably done more to motivate the Trump movement going into the final stretch than ANYTHING else.
