Despite the nickname, I have always liked this aircraft.

Me too...
Overpowered, durable, and hell on wheels for the enemy.
Love it.

I love the A-10. I was stationed at Myrtle Beach when they replaced their A-7 fleet with the A-10s - some of the best airshows ever as they demonstrated their capabilities.

"Despite the nickname, I have always liked this aircraft." Well, I have always sorta like the nickname (though my choice of handle is unrelated to it).

Warthog is a nickname. Official name is Thunderbolt II. The first Thunderbolt was a P-47.
