I got a search warrant on a Sunday afternoon. I had to meet the magistrate at her condo pool where I swore to my affidavit and she signed it. (with people hanging out nearby)..for a relatively routine matter only reason for quick warrant was evidence might move..
in real exigent circumstances one can be had telephonically.
not difficult to get a warrant on a Sunday. there is always a duty magistrate or judge available 24/7/365.
Right but if they are slow walking it there certainly would be no urgency to “do business” on a Sunday.
