An NYU professor crusading against political correctness and student coddling was booted from the classroom last week after his colleagues complained about his incivility, The Post has learned.
Liberal studies prof Michael Rectenwald, 57, said he was forced Wednesday to go on paid leave for the rest of the semester.

Paid leave is cool.

The Trump Train is adding additional cars by the minute.
Come aboard! Baskets, coats, and tendies are still very much available!
Snowflakes among the faculty.
Somebody needs to “lecture” these Leftist yutes and their Commie profs with a rubber hose.
Trump should cut off federal funding to all schools and universities that try to limit free speech and silence faculty and students with this silly pc crap. I am sick to death of these types of stories.

If he's not tenured he can sue.
Did he have tenure?
No diversity of thought allowed...
If he didn’t, he’ll never get it now.
Any taxpayer dollars going to NYU, in any form, need to be shut-off immediately.
It is ironic the 60’s leftist college students, who now control higher education in America, demanded free speech and expression as students but now suppress thought and speech.

HOPE THE GOOD PROFESSOR WINDS UP ON THE TRUMP TEAM TO OVER HAUL THE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION..... Payback is a bitch.
FTA: But Rectenwald is disheartened.
Im afraid my academic career is over, he said . Academic freedom: Its great, as long as you dont use it.
It helps to read the article before commenting. He is NOT yet tenured. He is just an Assistant Professor. He was naive to think that he could talk to a student newspaper columnist in an interview and not have a negative outcome . You have to be VERY careful until you get tenured. Even after getting tenure, liberal colleagues can make your academic life into a hell.
