When I served as chief of the Public Corruption/Integrity Section of the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Miami, there was an unwritten policy at the Justice Department that no public actions be taken with respect to any investigation involving a public figure within six months prior to an election in which that figure stood as a candidate.

That's because you and everyone else in government oversight were getting paid off by the corrupt Miami-Dade officials.

I agree. He never should have let the Beast from Planet Clintoonie off the hook back in July. He should have indicted her for her crimes against America.

Two words put the lie to this: Casper Weinberger.

It’s the Russians!

Sooner or later, we will find out that “deep throat 2016” was in the FBI or NSA.

“public releases of information relating to pending investigations of public figures up for election have traditionally been withheld”

...unless you’re a Republican of course. I kinda like Comey now!

Hillary, Huma, and others “made minor mistakes” and “errors in judgement”. Comey “screwed up” by pointing those out.

He didn't screw up--he was pressured by the Department of Justice to drop the case--in short, a Watergate-style coverup.

This mess now reflects VERY badly on the Clinton campaign.

Comey screwed up in July when he announced the investigation was closing.
The media loved that: “Hillary Cleared!” the headlines shouted.

Only it wasn’t true.

You have to understand that everything, including the weather report, that is printed by the Sacramento Bee is official propaganda for the Democrat regime. They are the California farm-team for the NYT and WaPo.

When ever the democrat fascists and their satanic globalist allies aren't telling lies in front of a TV camera, they're whining and bitching about American traditions.

Their wanting someone to adhere to this particular tradition is just more proof that they are total hypocrites.

It’s not an ‘invvestigation’.. they are just looking into it.

The FBI means “Federal Bureau of looking into things”

Then why did Comey publicly announce in July that the FBI would not pursue a case against Hillary Clinton despite admitting that she could have been indicted with the evidence they had in hand?

And why was the FBI given the authority to make this decision, when their role is not to make decisions like this but to investigate potential crimes and turn the evidence over to a prosecutor?

Someone posited that the reason it was released at this time was to protect Hillary; so they could say that as part of an ongoing investigation the content of the emails in question could not be revealed.
