Clinton also claimed that “non-Evangelical white working class people” are simply supporting Trump because “they have an IV hooked up to FOX News.”
“So when Trump says, ‘I’ll build a wall around Mexico and no more illegal immigrants can get in'” Clinton said, “Believe me, nobody in coal country lost a job because of a Latin-American immigrant. They lost their industry.”

Yes, Bill, but work with me here. They lost their industry? Why did they lose their industry? What policies led to the decline of the coal industry? Which political party bears responsibility for that turn of events? Are the “coal people” as you once derisively called them, really stupid to support Trump, because of some misplaced blame? Really? In the realm of politics, aren’t they properly angry at the Democrat party?
