SR 1328 – “A SURPRISINGLY STRONG WIN FOR TRUMP” Says Prof. Clifford Thies Predicts

Good evening, I’m still reporting on Prof. Clifford Thies Predicts “A Surprisingly Strong Win for Trump” As we come down to less than one day before the polls open, an interesting variety of truly non-partisan people are predicting a Trump win tomorrow. One such person is Professor Clifford Thies, the Chair of Free Enterprise at Shenandoah University in Winchester, VA. Dr. Thies has been in communication with me for several weeks. Initially he said that Trump has a tough road ahead, however, as the weeks have gone by, his optimism has increased and yesterday when I asked him for his final prediction, this was his response. “A total across the boards victory for Republicans: A surprisingly strong win for Trump in terms of the electoral vote. He takes all of the Romney states. He wins Ohio and Iowa big. He holds North Carolina. “He wins Florida, New Hampshire and Nevada by a percent or two. And he wins two or more of the following five states because he outperforms the polls: CO, Michigan, NM, PA and VA. “Possibly also one or more of: ME (at-large), MI, MN, NM, or WI. Net loss of zero Senate seats. Net loss of 12 or less House seats. Net gain of 3 Governors.” Prof. Thies says that Trump’s late changes in itinerary is a “tell” to what’s going on inside the campaign: “Trump's change in his itinerary, in conjunction with the polling information available to the public, was a tell. It signaled that Trump's internal polling shows him that he has a real shot at stealing one or more of Minnesota, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Virginia from Hillary Clinton, but not much chance of stealing Wisconsin.” I’m still reporting from Washington. Good day.

Trump against the world. To hell with media manipulated polls. God bless Donald Trump and Mike Pence and for the survival of this republic pray that they'll retire the Clinton Crime Family for good.

I sure hope so.

If Hillary loses, there’s no chance she would run again in 2020, is there????

She’ll be a babbling blob of stuttering idiot by then with her mental problems, IF she lives that long.

For her, it’s now or never.

Wisconsin is just brain dead. Reagan was the last Republican to carry the state. Nevertrump didn’t exist in 1988, when the fools voted for Dukakis.

Clifford Thies is not “non-partisan”, he’s an economist with an Austrian Economic outlook. He’s libertarian.

Wouldn’t we all like to be a fly on the wall (or her face) if she loses this? Hope someone will record it.

Things we knew then in 2012 that we know even better now.

I was disturbed to read today something I had posted on Facebook 4 years ago on the eve of the 2012 election. What I wrote didn't disturb me as much as what it reminded me of then and what I see again now to an ever greater degree.

We know (as many of us knew then) that in 2008 and 2012 staying home and not voting or voting for a third party candidate to "send a message" was not merely an exercise in futility but an act of surrender.

Want to send a message?

A clear and definite message?

Write a letter, put a stamp on it, and send it off.

The recipient may not heed it, but at least you won't be giving comfort and support to the enemy by shooting into the air the ONLY thing that can hurt him.

And to feel PROUD of using one's vote for a third party as an anonymous message sender?

Or, even worse, to be submitting the nation to the danger of another Clinton Administration so a third party could have the possibility of getting federal matching funds (electoral welfare) in 2020, a year in which it will have even less chance of success after Hillary gets done dealing with her political enemies?

The Democrats consistently engaged in acts against the nation and its institutions. A large and decisive slew of Republicans and the perpetually confused (aka the undecideds) consistently engage in dereliction of duty on behalf of irrelevant principles (like the principles of good nutrition being irrelevant when preceded by the death of the body), the end being aid to the Democrats in deconstructing the nation.

From 2012:

Things we know:

1. The supporters of Mitt Romney didn't threaten to commit riots and violence if their candidate failed to be elected.

2. Obama can never credibly claim that the U.S. is a racist nation, unless he constructs a specially-designed category that will give him just the result he wants (as though he's not been doing this all along).

3. Deficit spending will continue to be increasingly harmful to long term economic well-being.

4. It will remain true that if achievement and excellence are punished through punitive tax rates both achievement and excellence will be found in shorter and shorter supply.

5. It will remain true that forbidding the use of the cheapest resource for generating electricity will necessarily cause the price of electricity, and the prices of everything that depends on electricity for its production, to increase.

6. It will remain true that increasing the price of one thing will necessarily result in less money available to the consumer to spend on other things.

7. It will remain true that decreased expenditures on other things necessarily will result in increased unemployment amongst those who manufacture and sell those other things.

8. It will remain true that if the scope of government is expanded and a greater percentage of the population has an increasingly larger portion of its necessities provided by the government, the pool of folks from whom these necessities are extracted via taxes will necessarily shrink, resulting in a decreasing yield requiring even higher rates of confiscation.

9. It will remain true that the more a pest tries to take of the fruit of one's productive labors, the greater will be the effort to protect one's assets from the pest, either by putting them out of reach of the pest, converting them into a form not currently favored by the pest, or by limiting the pest.

If Barry continues on his current course, he is only putting off the day of reckoning.

Too bad there are so many voters who are so blissfully unaware that canaries are dropping dead all around them.

Their day will come.

_________

And now it has, but they still have not learned the lessons from the last eight years.

There’s libertarian. And then there is the Libertarian Party.

Based on what you said, that does not make him “partisan.”

These two statements don't harmonize.
