An MSNBC reporter said Tuesday night that Sen. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., told her that he could decide to switch to the Republican Party if Trump wins and the Senate is close.
"There was a conversation I just got off the phone with Sen. Joe Manchin, because I've been picking up a lot of intense speculation that in the event there was a 50-50 Senate, he might be somebody who would switch parties, potentially become an independent," reporter Kasie Hunt said.
"I have to tell you, I couldn't get a firm commitment from him that he was definitely going to be a Democrat for the next two years," she said. "He says, 'no, I'm not going to say that.'"
They just switch to undermine the repubs and try to get liberal stuff through and water down bills.
Dont accept them in. Do not recognize them.
I’ve never liked this guy. I guess its good that he’s another GOP vote but he stabbed WVA voters in the back over and over.

Sometimes that ONE vote in the Senate can mean the whole world to the country. It’s kinda’ good to know that a weasel dem might be willing to do what some weasel Rs have done to us recently. We should willingly take it and enjoy watching the liberals heads explode. They deserve it big time.

you allow them to join but you don’t trust them until they start coming through on close votes and even then you don’t give them any power positions until they survive at least one election as a republican. they have to prove themselves and prove that they have some sort of integrity because joining a party because the party you are in does not have the presidency is an indicator to me that the person might have integrity issues.
if he had integrity he would of switched before the election not after.
