Good riddance. He’s probably getting ready to drown himself in the Ohio River.

Cancelling the speech after our victory doesn’t tell us anything we did not already know. Kasich consistently sides with democrats instead of with free men.

- Kasich voted for the “Assault” Weapons Ban. https://grabien.com/file.php?id=53463 and as of last year did not regret that vote

- Kasich supported and implemented Obamacare’s Medicare expansion http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/john-kasich-bible-medicaid_us_56140a54e4b022a4ce5fb1e3

- Kasich supports Amnesty for illegals. http://www.ontheissues.org/John_Kasich.htm

- Kasich dismissively said Christian bakers should “bake the cupcake” and participate in a gay parody of the sacrament of marriage, even if it violates their religious beliefs. https://www.frcaction.org/updatearticle/20160225/kasich-pushes

- Kasich supports Obama’s nominee for the Supreme Court. http://www.cbsnews.com/news/john-kasich-id-consider-nominating-merrick-garland-supreme-court-election-2016/

These are Kasich’s core beliefs, not odd comments taken out of context. Kasich is a big government liberal who consistently opposes conservative positions and consistently opposes the rule of law.

The speech Kasich needs to give is a resignation speech.

He broke his solemn word to support the Republican's democratically elected presidential nominee who subsequently won Ohio in a blowout. He has neither integrity nor the confidence of the voters. Go deliver some mail treacherous clown.

I have no problem with principled conservatives bailing out on a candidate who is a criminal or a morally reprehensible character. In this case, the biggest betrayal was not what these @ssholes did to Trump, it's what they did to the credibility of their own political party.

I had someone explain this to me at a Trump rally in Pennsylvania last week. He had served in public office at the local level, and he said the real problem the GOP now faces is that the party's ability to raise money has been damaged considerably. They can't even hold prominent candidates to their own pledges to support the party's nominee in a presidential election, so what exactly is the purpose of even donating to the party anymore?

In addition to that, he said a party member who refuses to support a nominee is basically seen as a thief -- having availed himself of the party's financial resources for their own races, then running away when it came time to come to bat for another candidate.

Kasich is history. He has to repudiated by the GOP in a very public way, or else the party is going to be crippled financially.

I am surprised he scuttled it. The man seems to have an inordnantely high opinion of his worth.

I suspect he "scuttled it" when they stopped payment on the check.

Kasich committed political suicide. Hopefully Ohio voters remember him as a turncoat, not to be trusted!
