I am not OK with the current rates for health insurance. They have gone up with Obamacare. I want the rates to go back down. I expect our representatives to implement policies that bring them down.

Maybe you’re not aware of Trump’s plans for reining in health care costs. I encourage you to read up about it here:

Isn't that up to the insurance companies themselves?

I've read it many times before. I don't see much there that is likely to make a difference on healthcare costs.

I'm well aware of that and I do have issues with it. In the first place insurance has always been a state issue and the government taking that away from them would violate the 10th Amendment. Second, saying that I can buy insurance across state lines doesn't mean they would want to sell it to me. And I can see no benefit to them by doing so.
