Two of the writers who worked on “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” jumped into the political fray on Friday with not-so subtle anti-Donald Trump messages.
“Please note that the Empire is a white supremacist (human) organization,” screenwriter Chris Weitz tweeted. Gary Whitta, who also worked on the film, followed up by adding, “Opposed by a multi-cultural group led by brave women.”

The scenes in the final act between Luke, Vader, and the Emperor are some of the best filmmaking the original trilogy has to offer. That final confrontation, when Luke *almost* turns to the dark side, before ultimately making the right decision and redeeming his father in the process, is the climax of the entire series.
Unfortunately, it constantly cuts back to godawful Ewoks going Viet Cong on storm troopers. And the film ends with a teddy bear picnic and fireworks.
Coming out against a president-elect who just won in a landslide, is bad for business, nitwits.
Hollywood and the hard core left still haven’t realized that it’s exactly that sort of attitude that has caused most Americans to reject them and the Democrat party.

So a couple of the writers are bitter left wing idiots. There are tons and tons of people contributing to such products, and I will bet some of them are patriots. I work in Silicon Valley, and there are always leftwing idiots working on almost every piece of software you are gonna use. And usuallt some right minded patriots as well. For myself I’m not gonna boycott any products for such a reason.

I just watched a wonderful movie that blew out all political correctness. “Poultrygeist, Night of the Chicken Dead.” Absolutely disgusting horrible and one of the funniest Troma films in the PC era.
Can’t hollywood leave this crap out for once? There’s a reason people like mindless action flicks. And, there’s a reason no one wants to watch your social commentary crap.
Nice job, Disney. Your audience for Star Wars is mostly white males, who also voted for Trump. You just lost money at the box office with this stupidity.
I'll watch it next year when it's free on HBO. Not giving my money to anyone once you espouse hatred for this Constitutional Republic and its citizens. I'll watch it like I watch 3 stooges, just to fill time and be slightly entertained.
The previews looked pretty bad but I was willing to go see it anyway. Not anymore.
