Obamacare. Tapper cites the interview with Leslie Stahl, and focuses on the preexisting conditions aspect. Tapper wants to know where the 25 billion dollars to pay for preexisting conditions is to come from (Tapper, you moron, it comes from the people in one form or another - either taxes or insurance premiums). Ryan points to bettergov.gop (or better.gop), No. 5 for details.
Tapper is fixated on Obamacare, what about Medicaid? What about birth control at no cost to the consumer? Ryan says the legislation hasn't been drafted yet. Trump is going to perpetrate a warn on women.
Next question is on the border, deportation, etc. CNN plays a old clip of Trump, rather than the clip where he lays out his deportation priorities. Ryan says securing the border is top priority.
Tapper invokes the popular vote as a signal that the public is not really in favor of Trump's proposed policies. Ryan says Trump overperformed, and should not be underestimated. Trump aims to help Americans, grow the economy, etc.
Tapper says you are not mentioning, and he understands why, is the difference between Ryan and Trump on trade, specifically tariffs on imports. Ryan says see #6 on betterway.gop, which is a better way to encourage companies to situate in the US, which is mostly tax code. Tapper wants to know what Ryan will do if Trump proposes tariffs. Ryan says they will discuss, in particular tax reform making America more competitive.
Tapper says many conservatives are concerned about Trump's use of Steve Bannon, as mainstreaming white supremacist and racist views. Do you have any concerns about Bannon being in the Trump administration? Ryan has no concerns, does not know Bannon, but trusts Trump's judgment. Trump is successful, surrounds himself with capable people.
Tapper, with a straight and serious face, insists that Trump is surrounding himself with racists. Tapper is a disgrace to humanity.
Tapper next puts Giuliani on the hot seat.
First question is on the potential conflict of interest between the presidency and Trump businesses. Tapper suggests that Trump industries should be transferred to a blind trust. Rudy says that would essentially put Trump's children out of work.

This thing about winning the popular vote is now an accepted fact.
First, the total vote count has not even been done yet so what right does Chuck Todd, in this case, have to say that.
My friend Diane Feinstein, who I think voted for Hillary silly woman, said the same thing.

Sean Hannity drives me crazy (interrupting, etc.) but he has been a loyal Trump supporter. I thought it very interesting that he bought an original Jon McNaughton painting as a gift for Trump .... evidently, McNaughton rarely sells his originals. This will be very meaningful for Trump, no doubt - ‘ya did good, Sean!!

The two things that did tick me off, however:
People would post something like “Trump 47.1%, Hillary 47.3% with 3% of the vote”.
But they wouldn’t list WHAT STATE (or whatever jurisdiction)! Infuriating for those keeping score.
I exploded at a couple of these knuckleheads.
And second, the Negative Nellies! What a bunch of hysterical pansies! Would not stop posting doom and gloom but we finally chased them off, and it also helped that by 9:00 PM it looked like The Donald was rolling on good!

Right here on FR, many posters and bloggers, and even famous commentators like Rush Limbaugh, kept up nearly *four years* of falsehoods that four million (or some other huge number) GOP voters ‘stayed home’ in 2012 vs. 2008 because of premature election day 2012 reporting of incomplete vote totals. Urban legends can live forever.

They are backing out on the wall. You have to build a physical wall so when a Dem takes over the WH he will not enforce a virtual wall.
Ayotte voted for the Gang of 8 bill. This alone should disqualify her from any position in the Trump Administration.
