I take this movement seriously. They pose a major danger to the Electoral College. They are passing legislation state by state to implement these interstate compacts that require states to allocate their electoral votes on the basis of the national popular vote. It is ongoing. It has been enacted into law in 11 states with 165 electoral votes.
Sorry but I have no time for Chris “arrogant ass” Stirewalt. Why they put these pompous blown hards on their shows like him and Gastperino on FNB is an utter mystery. They add NOTHING to the shows.
There is no reason not to secure our borders and to have a pause for a year or two on any immigration legal or not.
Once its resumes let’s let in maybe hundred k or so per year of only those who can definitely help the country or a few Christians like those being prosecuted in the mid-east and by other wacko islamos.
On talk radio host, also consider how close this election was averaged to be had an effect, and Trump didn’t make it easy either as he claimed he could beat Clinton but it was looking anything but easy.
And if I may, I was a Cruz supporter when after it wasn’t popular too, knowing Trump had financially supported Harry Reid (including Obamacare passing?) et. al; even if it was only staying in business meant Trump had to buy favor from legislators like Reid. I am no where near the luxury of financial security and I knew the difference.
I have spent years opposing big government Democrat doctrine and I have no mind for those who would have supported the Democrat agenda. I kept that quiet after the Primary because the alternative was Hillary. To his credit Trump did take the fight to them, and Cruz/others may not have got that win.
And I hope there is no compromise to the Democrat agenda, to express my cautions.
And ‘best election ever’ is true for me as of now, to express my support and optimism.
I don’t think they can ignore this. It’s really disgusting and wide spread.
Now that you bought up Frank Luntz, there’s another one time to go.
He never makes any connection between his so-called “focus group” and their votes or political idealogy.
He decides what the group wanted to say and he says it for them. He selects people to talk and I don’t know based on what.
I think Luntz wants it all to be about Luntz and there’s got to better out there.

Agree, but limiting the number of legal immigrants has to go thru Congress. The Dems and many Reps like Ryan, Flake, McCain, etc. will fight it. It was Bush 41 who doubled the immigration caps in 1990.
There are a large number of Red State and Purple State Democrats Senators up for re-election in 2018. The Dems have to defend a lot of seats in 2012. Trump and the GOP merely need to give good government to the voters. Dems face a major structural issue, being obstructionist in the Senate is not a slam dunk for the Dems.

The GOP is 100% correct in handling pre-x with a High Risk Pool...it's absolutely logical, free-market and viscerally hated by the RATs. (all the more reason to do it). It takes chronically ill and dying out of the healthy pool, pays their claims separately.
The 26 year old "children" thing is ridiculous, but doesn't really add any cost, probably even lowers premiums by adding to the healthy pool.
A lot of the Never Trumpers, and people like Rush, have a Dogma of Conservationism. They have this world view of a perfect Conservatism. Problem is there are not enough voters to elect a perfect Conservative. They have created this myth of “Reagan the Perfect Conservative”. Reagan was far from perfectly Conservative in fact.
So when they are confronted with the realities of politics they hem and haw and equivocate because it does not fit their perfect political dogmas.
