I normally don’t tweet, but just wished him well in response to that last tweet.
The media are now coming to grips with the dual reality that they are increasingly irrelevant in the modern world and that they are held in utter contempt by the majority of the American people. It must suck to be them.
Being a student of history and a bit paranoid, I have to wonder how long it will be before the power elites start trying to take out Twitter and other social media platforms?

They were fantastic televising all the Trump rallies and showing the awesome crowds at each one.
This reminds me of a recent experience. I am the Director of a local Humane Society. We accept old newspapers to put in the bottom of the kennels. A gentleman came in a few weeks ago and asked me if we had any German Shepherds. I told him I had a Shepherd/Lab mix. He said good because he had a trunk full of German language newspapers. I had to control my staff from their laughter.
The NYT and most daily newspapers will be a thing of the past soon.

Agree. Keep the twitter account to respond. In 2017 Trumpian America this IS presidential. Things have definitely changed. Social media played a big part in getting Trump elected. It will do likewise in getting his agenda accomplished.
When Reagan was elected I bought the NYT every morning and thought I was informed.
Why would he give up a tool to go around the MSM... Allowing home to go direct to the people?

I believe Twitter played a large role in him winning! It’s a communication tool...but needs maybe a bit more editing.
The NYT this morning stated that Trump "believes more countries should acquire nuclear weapons" which is your typical MSM lie.
President-Elect Trump immediately let his millions of social media followers know that this was FALSE!
This is a power no previous president ever had. Well, Obama had it too, but the MSM was always kissing his butt so he never needed to rebut them on anything.
Once President Trump builds his social media following to tens of millions of citizens - as he is very quickly in process of doing - he will hold the MSM to account and force them to either become honest or become irrelevant.
